R.I.P Mac Miller

Another shocking death hit the music world on Friday afternoon (September 7), when Mac Miller died at the young age of 26. Billboard has confirmed the news, with TMZ reporting that the rapper has died from an apparent overdose.

The tragic news immediately led to a lot of social media tributes to the rapper, including members of the hip-hop community Chance the Rapper, J. Cole, Juicy J, and Jaden Smith. But the heartache went beyond hip-hop when other artists like Shawn Mendes, Kehlani and 1975 shared the news with stars who had never met Miller, like late-late show host James Corden: "[I], was a fan of his Spirit. "

"He was one of the cutest guys I've ever known ... I really loved him," tweeted Chance. Noah Cyrus added: "We have lost an inspiration for fans and many musicians, you are forever a musical icon."
