Pictures of the bizarre-looking garment are currently bustling in the net. A scarf at just under 850 euros. What sounds like a product for the affluent elite has mutated in recent days to the viral mass phenomenon.
The reason: The pale pink garment of the Italian fashion company Fendi evokes many an interesting association. And so it comes that currently, rows of vulvar comparisons appear together with images of furry scarves from a wool-silk mixture on the Internet.
Rightly heard, many people think at the sight of the scarf on the external female genitalia.
"The Touch of Fur" by Fendi Above all, color, convolution, and the integrated fox fur trim prompt the quite accurate comparison. "Fendi's 750-pound 'Voltva' scarf makes the wearers look as if they were born," headlines the Guardian.Fendi’s £750 ‘vulva’ scarf makes wearers look like they’re being born https://t.co/hrPM2JLRZC— The Guardian (@guardian) October 15, 2018
"Put it on and pretend that you're just about to be born," jokes a user on Twitter. "Wow, do it with a pink swimming cap and you might look like a clitoris with a face," writes one user.
Others are distracted by the design: "Has the world gone crazy?" Asks one user.
