Haitian Earthquake 2018 Reports, Argentina - At least 11 people were killed after a 5.9 earthquake struck Haiti, local media reported.
Citing government spokesman Eddy Jackson Alexis, the newspaper Le Nouvelliste said that several hundred people were also injured in the quake, causing panic and spreading across the country.
In the northernmost department of the country, in North-Ouest, seven people were killed. About 100 people were hospitalized in the city of Port-de-Paix.
Another four people were killed in the town of Gros Morne, it said.
