Prisoner gives a Guantanamo court the first account of CIA abuse

The war crimes tribunal at Guantanamo has reached a milestone with a sentencing hearing for Majid Khan, who pleaded guilty to terrorism and other offenses and agreed to cooperate with U.S. authorities prosecuting five men charged in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

Majid Khan, who was an al-Qaida courier, told military jurors considering his sentence for war crimes how he was subjected to days of painful abuse as interrogators pressed him for information.
